Spring is here! Or so the calendar says...

It is now officially spring! Mother Nature has decided to celebrate by giving us rain showers to help our hay get a good start on growing.

We've spent the past few days getting our haying equipment ready. As soon as the fields dry, we will start harrowing to remove last year's dead plants to ensure fresh new growth for our first cutting.

We are hoping to close on the purchase of the property next door, which will triple our alfalfa production to almost 60 acres of premium feed. Cross your fingers for a smooth transaction so we can be ready for growing season!
